About
Advance Dairy & Pump (ADP), established in 2009, is Northland’s largest provider of milking, water, and dairy effluent systems. About Us (ADP).
Established in 2009 through the amalgamation of Trevor Ryan WHG and WELL and Watkins Bros, Advance Dairy & Pump (ADP) has grown into a trusted name in the dairy services industry. Founded by Trevor and Monica Hutchinson, who brought over 20 years of experience from both the North and South Islands, the business was built on a strong foundation of local knowledge and hands-on expertise. Upon returning to their roots in Northland, Trevor and Monica became actively involved in the company, shaping its values and operations with a deep commitment to the farming community.
Today, ADP stands as Northland’s largest agency for milking, water, and dairy effluent systems, servicing an area that stretches from the Auckland Harbour Bridge to Kawakawa.
Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we cater primarily to farming and lifestyle block customers, as well as industrial clients and pool owners. Our broad customer base reflects our ability to adapt and respond to a wide range of needs with prompt, professional support and reliable service.
With three branches working collaboratively and access to a wide range of suppliers, ADP offers flexible and tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients. We take pride in our team’s problem-solving abilities and understand that no two farms, businesses, or situations are alike. In 2025, the business was proudly handed over to Nick and Tarn de Ridder, who are continuing the legacy of customer-focused service and innovation that ADP is known for.
We have dealt with Advanced Dairy and Pump Limited (ADPL) for the past ten years. They have upgraded and maintained the plant in our dairy sheds. Planned, installed and serviced our water and effluent systems. It is reassuring to know that their skilled staff are available to do any urgent repairs promptly, even after hours. We are very happy with the quality of service we have received from the team at Advance Dairy and Pump Ltd
